Project Quality Plans


Quality is the integral part of the whole process of Alutek Aluminium. We believe in learning, improvising standards and adopting new technologies along with training staff and understanding the market requirements. We strictly adhere to:
  • Procurement of all materials from guaranteed sources.
  • Using high standard and latest technology machineries to fabricate at maximum precisions
  • Follows strict sequence of activity to avoid redoing and any damages to the installed items
  • Well understanding the project requirement and proposing the best suitable result.
  • Upgrading employee’s skills
  • Compliance with the authority regulations from documentations to clearance

Health & Safety Policy


Alutek confirms to all occupational health and safety rules & regulations. Our employees are well trained in all health & safety issues. We also follow all procedures necessary to protect our employees from occupational hazards.

Objective


The main objective of the safety policy is to maintain a healthy & safe work environment for all employees and personnel of Alutek.

Procedures


Safety induction is conducted before any personnel is allowed on the site along with clear instructions and guidelines.

Safety Rules


Safety is utmost importance in performance of all operations and must be an integral part of each work task. The company's policy is to abide by all safety rules and regulations formulated for the projects as we believe that it is our utmost priority in performance of all operations.
Use of electrical tools and machineries:
  • All electrical tools are thoroughly checked before use. Any wear and tear identified are rectified immediately.
  • All electrical machineries are fitted with safety plugs and sockets. No machine is allowed to operate with loose connections or any other form of defect.
  • Workers exercise complete caution in these areas.
Safety Gears:
  • Every employee at site should wear safety helmets and shoes.
  • Safety belts are obligatory for those working on scaffolding above 2 meters
  • Coverall with the company logo is worn by all workers
  • Hand gloves are enforced for all activities which may lead to injury.
  • Safety glasses are compulsory while handling cutting machines, grinding machines, jigsaw etc
Discipline on site:
  • Supervisory staff are controlling the manpower.
  • Specific areas are allocated for rest and dine at site and factory.
  • Hygiene and Site timings are strictly adhered by all.
  • Alcohol, smoking and other drugs are strictly not allowed.
House Keeping:
  • To ensure cleanliness and good working environment, each working team is instructed to clean the wastage from their respective areas and this waste is disposed at designated areas only.
Fire Hazards:
  • Any activity, that is fire-prone, is carried out with necessary precaution, only after the approval from the main contractor.Fire extinguishers are provided in all necessary areas.
First Aid:
  • Site office is always equipped with all first aid materials. We have a team of trained supervisors who can immediately provide first aid, whenever necessary.
Safety Violations:
  • Alutek follows very strict procedures against any safety violation. Such violation by any party is reported to the project manager and immediate action is taken to avoid future recurrence.
Use of scaffolding:
  • All scaffoldings are checked by safety officer/supervisor and tagged before use.
  • All mobile scaffolding are erected as per catalogue with necessary bracing, platform and toe boards wherever required.
  • Safety belts are compulsory on all scaffolding exceeding 1.5 meters.
  • We ensure that all wheels are in lock position while working.
Use of ladders:
  • All ladders exceeding 2.0 meters height are tightly secured in position.
  • Maximum inclination of ladders are not permitted to exceed 75 degree.
Hoisting & material handling:
  • All hoisting/carnage equipment are operated by main contractors representative.
  • All slings, chains, pulleys for carnage are tested and certified by an independent agency.
  • Area falling under lifting are protected with barricades and no trafficking is permitted in such premise.
General Rules:
  • Tool throwing is not allowed.
  • Temporary platform for high level work is not allowed.
  • Short cut access is not allowed.
